The Brandenburg Gate has been the site of many monumental historical events. Oct. 3, 2014 marked the 25th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall.

The Fernsehturm: Berlin TV Tower was constructed between 1965 and 1969 by the administration of the German Democratic Republic. It was intended as a symbol of Berlin. Its height of 368 meters, it is the tallest structure in Germany.
